Hannah was assigned a few lines at her Memorial Day program at school a few weeks ago. She is normally is a very self-confident little girl but get her up in front of a classroom or a room full of other people and all of a sudden she starts talking like a baby. It drives me crazy.
I found out she had a speaking part the day before the program. The next morning we were practicing her lines and I threatened her that if she got up there and talked like a baby I would come straight home, reassemble the crib, and make her sleep in it that night.
