Another year done

The yearbook is done and shipped off to the publisher. What a better experience this year than last year!

Yearbook

I just finished the final draft of the 2009-2010 yearbook. What a great feeling. Tomorrow it goes to the school for final approval and then I can get it shipped off to the publisher before heading out on vacation. What a relief.

Between that and the garage it has been a crazy week.

It's that time of year again

My yearbook deadline is rapidly approaching and I have been spending quite a few hours at my computer this weekend. I obviously didn't look at my calendar when we scheduled our trip to California and therefore we'll be gone the week before my deadline. Of course that means I took an entire week away from myself. You know, just to make it a little more stressful.

Oops.

The yearbook timing is always terrible

Amidst all the other stuff going on this week I also had to get the cover of the yearbook designed and ready for submission. The cover design and the organization of the portraits were on my "to do" list for the holiday break and needless to say they were pushed off the top priority list by Nate's death and the flood at the office. It's going to be another busy spring but once I get a chance to take a breather and get organized I suspect the process will be a lot smoother than last year. I really hope that is true. If not I'm going to be in big trouble.
