Since we moved here in March 2002 I have pulled one deer tick and one regular tick from Jake, one regular tick from Lincoln, and two regular ticks from Hannah. I know this is the price we pay for living in such a beautiful wooded area but I can honestly say I really, really, really hate ticks.
They don't come out easily and the screams a child makes when you're trying to get one out is enough to break your heart. And while a deer tick is far more scary, thanks to the threat of Lyme disease, they are far easier to get out then a regular tick. Jake has actually had two deer ticks in him but his Aunt Diane pulled the first one out. The first time Hannah had a tick she screamed so hard while I removed it that she broke capillaries in her face.
Ticks suck. That's as plain and simple as it gets.

Thinking about your Title color dilemma (sp?). You could try layering a text box of any color you want using a photo editing program (bring out the gimp!) Then replace that picture and set it to not use the title and description.
