We just washed the medicine, i.e. pesticides, out of Hannah's hair and brushed it out with the nit comb. I washed it with Repel shampoo and conditioner to hopefully keep any new ones away. I can't spot any more nits and I'm hoping we've nipped this in the bud. All the bedding has been laundered, the couch cushions sprayed down, all hats have been run through the dryer, and the stuffed animals have been bagged up for their month-long quarantine in the basement. I don't know what else to do. I guess in 10 days we're supposed to do another treatment "just to be safe" but for that I purchased a non-toxic, pesticide free treatment. So far, so good for Jake, Lincoln and I.
Here's hoping tomorrow is a tick-free, lice-free, bug-free day.
