Yesterday's Derby was, as usual, the greatest 2 minutes in sports. Unfortunately it ended in tragedy when the 2nd place finisher, the first filly to run with the boys since 1999, had to be euthanized on the track having broken her two front ankles after crossing the finish line.
Rest in peace Eight Belles.
