The downside of having a smart child

This morning I told Lincoln we should take the kids to the C-A-R-N-I-V-A-L tonight if it's not raining. I was hoping Hannah wouldn't catch that because I'm 30 years old and I still have trouble when people spell words out to me. But no, she didn't miss a beat and said "yea, yea, I want to go to the carnival!" Which of course got Jake excited too. And now it's going to rain.... They'll be great fun to live with tonight.
