You know, living in the woods can really suck. I just pulled yet another tick out of Jake. Lincoln wasn't home this time so I asked Hannah to help me but she didn't have the stomach for it. Luckily Jake didn't scream and just let me pull it out with the tweezers.
When Rachel was here, after our hike through the woods, she had one in her hair (that hadn't bitten her yet) and when she spotted it she shook her hair and it went flying. Guess where it landed? Yes, on me. My neck to be exact. Luckily we discovered that before it could bite me.
I'm really getting sick of these little buggers. We've never had as many as this before. I'm thinking it might be a smart idea to spray our yard this summer and then hope for the best.
