Thwarted by potato wedges

A semi truck carrying refrigerated potato wedges apparently rolled over early this morning in South Bend, IN. Both lanes of traffic were supposed to reopen at 3 p.m. according to the local Fox News affiliate. It's 3:20 now and we're finally starting to move a little. We were just sitting in one spot for about 15 minutes. At least one trucker must have turned off his engine while we were waiting because I just heard him fire up the engine when we finally started moving. Hopefully we'll get around this soon and be on our way. This is obviously going to throw us off schedule for tonight but since our outdoor BBQ that Rachel had planned is already cancelled thanks to the pouring rain in Madison right now I guess it doesn't really matter although the kids are getting quite anxious with our 2 mph speed. We may start turning on each other soon. It could get ugly.

LOL! Hang in there Snow Family! I feel like I am actually there traveling with you guys on this vacation. LOL. You are such a good writer! Ever thought of writing a book, or screenplay, perhaps? eh? :-)
