Lesson learned

Jake threw up again this morning. We spent the night at Rachel and Kevin's in Madison last night and got up and on the road by 6:15 a.m. We figured we'd drive awhile and then stop for breakfast somewhere before Chicago. Jake threw up right as we were pulling into the Denny's parking lot. Luckily this time he threw up before breakfast so there wasn't much in his stomach. Every other day he has been fine and each of those mornings we made sure to feed the kids before getting on the road so obviously that is our problem. I've never gotten car sick before but the few times that I felt like I might it has always been while riding in a car on an empty stomach. I guess from now on we'll have to figure breakfast into our plans before hitting the road for a long car ride.
