Man she cracks me up. I was NOT this smart at 7 years old.

Hannah: Hey Mommy! Look! There's a bat. It obviously doesn't know it's not quite dark yet.

Me: Bats are actually blind. They can't see. Do you know how they fly if they can't see?

Hannah: No. But I know how they find bugs and stuff to eat.

Me: Oh yeah? How?

Hannah: Echo location.

Me: (laughing) Yes, that's one way to describe it.

And then she proceeded to tell me exactly how echo location works.
