Jake and Hannah have been looking through a children's catalog of toys and Jake found a "Surefire Compound Bow" that he really, really, REALLY wants. I told him he's not allowed to have it because he doesn't need anything that promotes his violent tendencies.
Jake: Why can he have it? (pointing to the boy in the picture)
Me: Because he's older. (pause). And likely doesn't have any homicidal tendencies.
Cue laughter from Lincoln from across the room.
