Capris are banished from our house
Hannah is in this "I know what looks good and you don't" phase and I have to say, some days it drives me crazy. Like today. Today she was wearing denim capris that came just below her knees. But she also had to wear socks and tennis shoes because today she had gym class. Here is where we have an issue. She INSISTS on always pulling her socks up as far as they will go. She will NOT scrunch them down. So basically her socks come up to just below her knee, there is about 1/2 inch of space, and then her pants start. She looks like a doofus.

Just remember Hannah gets to choose her outfits 178 school days of the year - according to your agreement. Also, the older you get the more you will realize that "mom" no longer knows what is "cool" and what isn't. It will only get worse. Peer preasure is much more likely to keep her from looking too dorky than you are.
