4th of July.....in the cemetery

Last night we went down to the Franklin fireworks. The best place to view the fireworks - other than high school where they light them off - is the graveyard. Yes, the graveyard. At first I thought it would be a little creepy because it's one of those really, really, REALLY old graveyards that New England is known for, but luckily we ended up in the "new" area. We sat with people that were born in the late 1800's and died in roughly 1960-1970. The only thing that creeped me out was at the end, I realized that the flat stone that I had rested my hand on was part of a family plot and the stone read "Mother".
